Even Mr Punch went to Mick's wedding |
Uncle Mick entered into the world of entertainment over 35 years ago in 1982 , when he wrote a script, carved some Punch and Judy puppets, built a booth and took them to the beach at Morecombe. After a successful season Mick moved back to Peterborough, his home town, where he secured a concession on the beach at Hunstanton, Norfolk for Punch and mini trampolines. He then expanded into children's amusements creating a mini funfair for fetes and corporate events, including trampolines, roundabouts, Victorian swingboats, a tractor train ride and bouncy castles. And side stalls for candy floss, popcorn, coconut shies, hoopla stalls and strikers, working alongside his children's entertainment of discos, ventriloquism, magic, balloon modelling and puppets.
ln the late nineties he was offered a deckchair concession on the beach, a new venture for the next 20 years of his life. Heading towards retirement and selling his rides in the last 5 years Mick now spends the summer season hiring out deckchairs to events nationwide along with the crazy golf course he built in 2013 and his Punch and Judy children's show.
We deliver traditional deck chairs anywhere and also have some Vintage and, new for 2017, our fun Giant Deckchairs and Mini Deckchairs for little people. Mick has taken his equipment to many exciting events up and down the country over the years.
